I haven't been doing "serious" drawings in a while, keeping myself only to sketches. ^^;

Now that I see all these fantastic fanarts of Avatar, I couldn't resist doing one, myself. I have no style, I admit. Aang doesn't look any different from the show except for the robes. *hangs head in shame*

About the robes, I got my reference from here: [link] , hence, the overwhelming color of maroon which is absent from the monks of the show. ...Now that I think about it, the new robes look more like the priests from the Fire Nation. Well, the outer robes do. Bah, let's just say he looks more distinguished.

...*sigh* I miss drawing. :love:

Great colors! The under robes look like the ones on those Hare Krishna guys. Also nice blur on the bg, makes the whole thing look dreamlike.

Very nice! The coloring is solid, keeping all the flavour of the air nomad color scheme. Lovely bg design.
Hey, no shame of doing the characters on model (and you are freakishly on model!). Fanart comes in all shape and styles, it's all good :D

Thanks! I know what you mean about the underrobes. I'm amazed at how Mike&Bryan made the younger monks in training wear something different yet gave the older monks similarities in the designs and color of their robes. :D

Dreamlike and made up. ^_^ We know that they'll never make Aang look like this. :)

Nice one, even though the costume and the BG share the same colors, but you've put good use of sharpness/blurriness that kicked the character out front!
