Let's face it, I hardly get to spend time online anymore and that pretty much categorizes me in the "wallowing in yesterday's news on the internet". But can someone tell me if Nickelodeon really popped this up during the first episode of ATLA on the Nicktoons Network? [link]

I had a really good laugh despite not knowing if it was true or not. In the back of my mind, I knew that this had to be done by those same editors for the Nick magazine that know diddly squat about what the creators were really thinking.

Seriously, though, I was laughing so hard that I almost peed my pants.

Wow, drove to IA on the 12th which pretty much accounts for me being semi-dead on dA . It wasn't planned so everything was rushed and I did so much over there. Just got home at 8 this morning and fell asleep from the 19 hour drive.

Transformers was too awesome. I never liked Shia LaBeouf and I don't think I ever will, so I just ignored him the whole time. Won't go into any spoilers in the journal for those who haven't seen it. I basically have to say that this is DEFINITELY a step up from the first one.

Saw the trailer to The Last Airbender before the movie and I have to say that I'm getting excited despite the fact that so many things could go wrong with the movie. I am definitely seeing that when it comes out. There's something about actually sitting in a theater with other nerds that makes you excited about seeing something.

Everyone knows about Michael Jackson already, so, I'll just keep it short. I never followed him religiously, but I'm more of a fan of his Jackson Five years than later on. You can't deny that he didn't make an impact in music and pop culture.

First off, I'd like to thank everyone who replied here. I'll get to searching for those books as soon as finals are over.

Second, the main reason for this journal is to promote my brother's Youtube page. He's more musically inclined (even though he can draw amazingly well) and his videos need more love. On some of his vids, he plays all the instruments and sings all the vocals, and I'm sad he doesn't have more views.

So, as a tiny, tiny favor, could you guys just click over to a few of his videos and take time to listen? I'd be deeply grateful. You don't have to comment, if you don't feel like it. I just want to get word out there that he's a really talented musician. So far, he's been reproducing songs (mostly by Weezer lol), but I'm hoping that the extra views would motivate him to do more original stuff.

Oh, and BTW, I designed that lame poster on those vids because his band couldn't think of a name other than "The Pickles". It's lame, I hate it, but what could I do?

Also, don't tell him I sent you there if you visited.
